What is water jetting?

The abrasive waterjet process works to cut a wide range of materials using a focused stream of highly pressurized water - 60,000 psi - is combined with a high quality 120 grit garnet for unparalleled finished edges.

Operated with high tech precision, our CNC - Computer Numerically Controlled - cutting head ensures a high precision of ±0.003″ per side. This level of control allows for the highest quality and craftsmanship in every project.

In this process, high pressure water exits the nozzle at nearly three times the speed of sound, pulling in and accelerating the abrasive particles. This mixture of water and abrasive cleanly cuts any material while transferring little to no heat. This eliminates the heat affected zone that many other cutting processes would create.

Cuts Almost Any Material

  • Metal (Steel, Aluminum, Titanium, Tungsten, Molybdenum, Copper, and more)

  • Glass and Mirror (Non tempered)

  • All Plastics (HDPE, UHMW, PTFE, PP, PC, PVC, PEI, ABS, Acrylic and more

  • Stone

  • Tile

  • Composites (Carbon Fiber, Fiberglass and more)

  • Foam

  • Laminates of multiple materials

  • Rubber and Silicone

  • Wood of all types

  • Lots more... (Don't see your material / we can probably cut it)

Advanced Capabilities

-Vacuum assisted piercing for brittle and fragile materials that can de-laminate such as carbon fiber and fiberglass.

-Advanced part fixturing for secondary operation cutting
